| PURPOSE AND MISSION |
|
The purpose of the Torrance County Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force is to provide a network among communities, individuals, providers, nonprofit agencies and state and local governments to coordinate and strengthen efforts related to the prevention of substance abuse. The mission of the PHTC Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force is to affect positive environmental change and to reduce the rates of substance abuse and DWI among youth and, over time, adults in Torrance County by utilizing evidence-based strategies. |
